Welcome to my blog today! I am excited to share this project with you that is part of a collaboration with several ladies on Youtube.
I have seen sets of the gold confetti glasses that range any where to 4 for $30 to higher. I knew I could make these and I am very excited about how it turned out. They are perfect for a dinner party I am putting together now.
I picked up all of my supplies from Michaels and used a coupon to get a better price. The glasses are from Target and only cost $1.00 a piece.
To start set up your painting station to make things easy for you. I used 3 different gold paints to add just a touch of layer to my glasses. I love the way they turned out.
The tray made it very easy to dip my brush in and helped me apply the paint very easily.
Just start dotting away with whatever color scheme you decide to go with. I love the look of gold so I knew right away this was my theme. It also goes perfect with my black and white plates
At that point we will take our cookie sheet and place them in a cold oven. Turn the oven to 350 and let them sit in the hot oven for 30 minutes. Then turn off the oven and let them sit for several hours until the oven is completely cool.
I found these perfect little black and white cups at Tuesday Morning. I filled mine with little macaroons and placed them on this little tray that I purchased from HomeGoods.
What a yummy treat to walk in and see!
I also set up a separate tray that I picked up from HomeGoods and filled more cups with strawberries. I set up a cupcake station for a special treat.
I love the mini pedestals to sit the cupcakes on. Its such a special touch to add height to my larger tray. I found the small pedestals at TJ Maxx for $7.99.
